Two pun titles in a row. Anyway, I thought keeping up on info on my Pokemon adventure would be fun. So here is where I am right now in Pokemon White.

Of course, first comes Miyamotter himself. He was my very first Pokemon from Prof. Juniper. He’s a jolly little fella with one heck of a Razor Shell attack. Miyamotter is definitely my favorite of the bunch. Right now, he’s at level 37.

Pansear was a gift from a guy in the Dreamyard, where you get the elemental monkey that will help you best at the first gym. He’s at level 35. Lately, he’s been having a hard time fighting because it’s been rainy weather in the game and rain lowers fire power.

I caught this guy at Route 3 as a little Blitzle. After taking on the Flying-type gym, he’s gained a lot of experience and is the highest leveled Pokemon I have. He’s level 38. Zebstrika has Lightning Rod to help Miyamotter out by drawing the electric attacks away.

I caught Krokorok in his first form in the desert. The move Bulldoze has been his favorite lately. He’s at level 37. I recently taught him Dig to save me some PokeDollars that would be spent on Escape Ropes. I don’t think he’ll be keeping it though.

This is my Sawsbuck named Bucky. I used to have a cat named that and the name came to mind when I caught the little deer. Evolved now, he is in his fall style with the leaves turning red. I am very excited for the game to switch to winter next month because that’s my favorite form! Bucky is level 35.

I caught this bugger earlier today while eating breakfast. It took forever to find one. I don’t really plan on keeping Ducklett forever, I just wanted a Pokemon that could use both Surf and Fly. 22 is his level.

Long before Pokemon White had come out, I had decided that I was going to go with the Water-type starter, but I was not going to evolve it to the final form. I did not really like how the third evolution, known as Samurott, turned out.

I think the overly large mustache and the move from two legged to four is what really bothers me. It just seems like a few steps back from the way the evolution line was going.

Although, I had to admit, the name “Samurott” was cool. I knew I had to think of a cool name for my samurai otter that was just as cool, if not cooler, if I wasn’t going to let him become one. I ended up naming him Miyamotter after the famous samurai Miyamoto Masashi, writter of The Book of Five Rings.

However, when I started looking into data on my little Oshawott, I stumbled across the official drawing of Samurott by Ken Sugimori. Although it technically is the exact same creature, I felt a bit different about the ol’ otter. I think getting a clearer view of its face is what did it. I mean, you can see more of the personality and see the connection with the previous evolutions more clearly. But I still was not yet convinced that I would actually have my starter evolve into it.

I realize I don’t post here all that much. Although I have been making good use of this domain for hosting my various HTML and other web testings, this is the front. This is what everybody sees and is my own little personal place.

Sure, I don’t technically have to keep this updated. I could just slap a page in this blog’s place that would hold the domain name just fine and dandy. But this is something I want to do.

In the future, I hope to keep the site more updated. In the past, I kept very up-to-date with this site by posting the happenings of my RPG characters as well as other happenings on TalkNaruto. However, I think I will move from that to other things. Maybe I’ll still do that, but at the same time, try to get more of my other happenings on here.

I guess we’ll just see how it goes.

Upgrade to the latest WordPress version? Are all of your comments for some reason going into the comment moderation even though you have the option off?

If you haven’t fully activated Akismet but have it turned on, disable it. It seems that little bugger is causing the issue. Otherwise, finish activating it and get it up to date. See if that works.

I had to help someone fix this issue and couldn’t find the solution on the internet. So I post this here for someone else. I did the same for the last couple posts. Maybe I’ll do this more often.

I lost my phone. Skipping on ahead, I had a heck of a time trying to get a hold on an actual person at AT&T to suspend my account. I read for help online and tried it all. Hitting 0. Calling the normal customer service (which just brought me back to GoPhone’s). Saying “customer service” over and over, trying to make the robot get confused and call for human help.

But finally, FINALLY! I figured it out.

I decided to try saying “customer service” elsewhere. The robot, after listing the normal menu items, always tossed in the ability to hear about “more options” at the end. I decided to go for it. After the robot confirmed my choice, I began to hear a list of the other choices.

“Customer service.”

The robot stopped listing. “Got it. Customer service.”

After one little question after that, which helped the robot know which area to transfer me to, I could hear the phone ringing. In just a few moments, I had a human on the other end.

Then, I was able to sort the whole thing out. Yay!

Had the robot actually listed the option to talk to a real person before, this would’ve been so much easier. With that said, I hope this helps anyone else out there struggling with getting a human in AT&T’s robot service.

I’m making a list of the issues we come across in fixing Kuro’s Steam in case it might help for someone else out there.

First was that it could not write to writeminidump.exe. To solve that, we went into the Steam install folder and deleted ClientRegistry.blob.

Then steamTMP.exe was unable to open for writing. That was killed off in the TaskManager, and then Steam was restarted. This led to the issue next being for steamNew.exe. The Steam site actually had a solution for that. Apparently, there might be some security issues.

We tried turning off the firewall and running to see if that did anything. Also while running the file as administrator. All that made was:

Error: delete of Steam.exe failed, Win32 Error 5 “Access is denied.”

When the firewall was turned back on, it turns out it was putting steam.exe and steamtmp.exe in its sandbox. After taking them out, we tried again for the update.

AND IT WORKED! Kudos to Kuro for his level of computer literacy and helping to solve the problem all by himself.

With all the new dragons I keep on getting, I thought I should put them all in one place. Sure, the scroll you can view is nice, but sometimes it’s cool to see them all at once.

Although, if the page gets too hard to maintain, I may replace the link with a link to my Dragon Cave scroll. Either way, I’ll be sharing all my dragons for all to see.

Alright, so, Fang got me back into the Dragon Cave thing where you get dragon eggs and hatch them. I got a bit crazy and got four of them today.

I originally started out with just the first two, but in time…yeah. Well, the fourth one was one that I used to have but it died. That was my first egg ever, so I just had to have it when I saw it again.

So yeah, we’ve all been posting up a bunch in the Dragon Cave thread. We’ve even been talking about making an RPG for them. That’ll be awesome.

If you have eggs, feel free to post them in the comments. Make sure you use the HTML code though, not the forum code. But the bots that scan over the pages should get you some views, and maybe some clicks as well.

Brian had announced his return to TN several days ago, but yesterday, boy did it show. (lol@rhyme)

Brian, TN Global mod that goes by the username RasenganWarrior, was a Pinky in the past. He was one of the originals. When he was promoted, and after Chronicknave stepped down shortly after, I was promoted to RPG mod. The two of us have been friends, since our early RPing days of Turtle War.

Anyway, he made some postage in the RPG area. And boy, were they awesome!

First, there’s how his characters in the Naruto RPG have made their comeback. Briato Uzumaki, Pinta Haruno, and Riyo Hylain, were all students of Shigeko, so of course they would show up at the wedding reception. They probably win the award for the best entrance, or at least the most interesting. xD

Brian didn’t stop there, he finally finished his creation of the thread, The Sage’s Mountain. It is probably going to be one of the funnest places in the Naruto RPG, allowing people to battle in a world of their imagination. But if you want to know the full details, then you’re going to have to read the whole thread and find the total awesomeness yourself.

In Bleach, I finally started using Rundi! I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with him.

I officially posted Rundi yesterday. The one area was uncertain with, I just shoved a N/A in the category. This was the ability for his arrancar zanpakutou prior to releasing it. I was going to allow it to make explosions. And the more of the little “gauges,” as I described them, were filled up on the zanpakutou, the bigger the explosion.

But, it sounded a bit OPed to me, so I removed it for now. Maybe I’ll get a better idea later.

Anyway, here is the complete profile. I am very proud of Rundi Manchado. Hopefully he gets accepted soon so I can use him.
