I have been thinking about getting started already on my own little game “company.” Names have been flowing in and out through my head. Something to stamp my work with.

Meanwhile, I’ve starting working through the book XNA 4.0 Game Development by Example to get me into a position of being able to build my own side-scroller for my game programming class. Judging from what I’ve seen of the class book (Learn XNA 4.0), we won’t be getting near side-scrolling in the course, and if I’m mistaken, it’d probably be at too late of a time for me to get my project up to snuff. I figure the sooner I get to it, the better.

I’ll talk more about the book later, but the overall thought of this post is: I want to start my own company. Start with indie games and move up. But, I need to decide what to do.

I let this place go dead, which isn’t cool. I just need to do a better job at keeping things up-to-date. It’s hard to do though if you’re busy.

My classes this semester are: an astronomy lecture and lab, a web programming class, and a game programming class. I hope to somehow use these to better my site. Maybe even end up making this all rather portfolio-y. Who knows.

In the web programming class, we make use of the Apache Tomcat server, which is pretty nifty. We also began using Cloudscape for databases.

The game programming class has us using Visual Basic C# in conjunction with XNA Gaming Studio.

I will go into more detail on things in future posts. At least that’ll give me something to write about.

I realize I don’t post here all that much. Although I have been making good use of this domain for hosting my various HTML and other web testings, this is the front. This is what everybody sees and is my own little personal place.

Sure, I don’t technically have to keep this updated. I could just slap a page in this blog’s place that would hold the domain name just fine and dandy. But this is something I want to do.

In the future, I hope to keep the site more updated. In the past, I kept very up-to-date with this site by posting the happenings of my RPG characters as well as other happenings on TalkNaruto. However, I think I will move from that to other things. Maybe I’ll still do that, but at the same time, try to get more of my other happenings on here.

I guess we’ll just see how it goes.

With all the new dragons I keep on getting, I thought I should put them all in one place. Sure, the scroll you can view is nice, but sometimes it’s cool to see them all at once.

Although, if the page gets too hard to maintain, I may replace the link with a link to my Dragon Cave scroll. Either way, I’ll be sharing all my dragons for all to see.

So, ever since I started making it that I just talk about everything I do on TN, I’ve had a lot to write about. And I like being able to look back to see what I’ve done.

I’m really glad I decided to do this.

I’ve been trying to think of what to use this site for, for a while now. I realized that all the things I put here could possibly be put on TN.

So, I’ve decided. I’m going to tie this site into TN. A whole lot. I’ll put my posts and all that jazz on here. If you want to know what this ninja is up to, then this is the place to be.

Let’s see how this goes.

Originally, I was going to add the option to thread/nest comments. But, I came across quoting, which seemed a lot better. Kuro backed up this choice as well.

Plus, it keeps the comments more forum-like, keeping the tie to TN. xD

Anyway, enjoy the new option. Although, I’m sure it hasn’t been needed at all just yet. But one day, maybe.

I’ve had this server space paid for for a while now, but the project it was meant for never really started. So, I decided to try to make use of my money and make a domain I can play around with.

I guess I’ll use this place to store files and whatnot. Or upload stuff that wouldn’t go anywhere on TN.

If you don’t know what TN is, it’s Talk Naruto, a website I belong to. I have a blog there, so I think I’ll continue to use that. However, I’ll have this site link to them. So this site will be totally connected to my world on TN. xD Hey, free advertisement.

This skin is just a quick grab at a nice free template. I’ll probably upgrade it later. I think the text is off center on the banner, but with the way it’s spelled in Japanese, it makes it hard to judge. I mean, “Cyber” is shorter than “Shinobi” in English, but in Japanese, it’s the opposite. Sure, by one character, but still. My Japanese-reading eyes were having a hard time. lol Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to update the banner soon.
